The upper Chain Guide Lambretta is covered by a metal core called disulfide; this is a dry self-lubricating and high-resistant against wear material. When it is due to friction, the material does not come off as tiny flakes like all vitrified nylons do, but it will create grooves besides of the chain; thus, no foreign bodies will occurr in the engine oil.
Notches on the skates, oil leveling, keep oil in that grooves in the same quantity for loading and unloading.
The Lower Chain guide Lambretta is slightly adjustable, thanks to slotholes, so it can be used on various models LI – DL – GP. Even on racing models with 19 pinions, it is adjustable so that the chain does not touch the guide- chain, so with the utmost smoothness.
