The Stratos 226cc Lamellar cylinder kit was born as a road upgrade of a purely racing cylinder. Thanks to the reed valve it turns out to be a brilliant cylinder, ready from low revs. The Stratos 226cc is made from cast aluminum with a highly hard nickel-chrome treated barrel.
The Stratos 226cc Lamellar is the top of the range cylinder kit created by the Stratos Racing Line R&D department.
Thanks to the specific radial copper gasket, it is possible to obtain maximum compression performance by decreasing the squish height by up to 0.9/1.0 mm; keeping the working temperature perfectly unchanged, thus guaranteeing maximum power and reliability.
Features of the Stratos 226cc:
- Lamellar suction with integrated flow diverter. Ultra-tested lamellar pack with a glass nite cusp and petals to guarantee linear and homogeneous dispensing.
- Round exhaust (TS1 type) with flow modeling.
- 6 transfers with different heights between primary, secondary and tertiary in order to guarantee maximum filling of the combustion chamber in the shortest possible time.
The kit consists of:
- 1 – 226cc aluminum STRATOS cylinder
- 1 – graphite forged BORGO piston with lateral lightening holes Ø 70.00 mm
- 1 – Stratos DP red head with specific self-centering bushings
- 1 – set of brass head nuts
- 1 – racing reed valve pack
- 1 – intake manifold complete with screws and washers. The manifold is for 26/30 or 32/35 carburettors (communicate this when ordering)
- 1 – annealed copper radial head gasket
- 1 – cylinder base gasket thickness 0.5 mm
- 1 – cylinder base gasket thickness 0.8 mm
- 1 – round exhaust gasket
- 2 – lamellar pack paper gasket
- 2 – exhaust studs
- 2 – exhaust nuts
